The final illegal immigrant who escaped from an ICE facility in New Jersey last month has been apprehended by the FBI after being located across the country.

Andres Felipe Pineda-Mogollon was arrested on Thursday in Los Angeles following a traffic stop in the Silver Lake area, according to a post by the FBI’s Los Angeles Office on social media. Homeland Security Investigations played a role in the apprehension.

“We are incredibly thankful to our courageous ICE agents and law enforcement partners for capturing Andres Pineda-Mogollon and the other three dangerous criminal illegal aliens who escaped Delaney Hall,” stated Tricia McLaughlin, Assistant Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.

“Politicians and activists relentlessly try to smear ICE, but the facts remain true: Delaney Hall houses dangerous criminals, including these four fugitives who committed aggravated assault, burglary, theft and even threatened to kill law enforcement. Now, these slimeballs no longer pose a threat to public safety.”
