The deeper we delve into Minnesota’s notorious $250 million “Feeding our Future” fraud scheme, the more alarming the situation becomes. Fortunately, those responsible for the fraud are facing justice. On Saturday, FBI Director Kash Patel shared with Fox News that at least 70 individuals have been charged in connection with this extensive scheme.

In a statement to Fox News, the FBI director reported that 70 individuals in Minnesota have been charged for their participation in the extensive “Feeding our Future” fraud operation, which took place during the COVID-19 pandemic. This operation took advantage of a federal program meant to compensate states for the expenses related to feeding children.

Those involved falsely reported providing millions of meals during the pandemic, only to divert the funds for their personal benefit. According to FBI officials speaking to Fox News Digital, 38 individuals have already admitted guilt, and over a dozen are in line for criminal trials, with the forthcoming trial scheduled for August.

So, millions of taxpayer funds were spent on expensive houses and fancy cars, rather than on feeding kids. That’s what the 70 (so far) are accused of. Director Patel made some very pointed remarks to that effect:

“Stealing over $250 million from hungry kids during a pandemic to fund mansions and luxury cars is as shameless as it gets,” FBI Director Kash Patel said in a statement. “I’m proud of the FBI and our partners for dismantling this web of corruption, holding dozens accountable, and sending a clear message: if you exploit the most vulnerable, we will find you and bring you to justice.”

There have been murmurings that knowledge of the scam may reach very high in the government of the state of Minnesota:
