According to a report, Cruz allegedly sprayed water using a garden hose on someone’s daughter outside his home in the Silverlake section of Los Angeles.

Sources revealed that the actor, originally from L.A. and known for his role as Sniper in the 2001 movie Training Day, was washing his car at the incident’s time.

The situation escalated when Cruz requested a woman, who had parked behind him, to move her vehicle. When she did not comply, he sprayed her with water, which she interpreted as deliberate. Cruz was formally processed at the police station on Monday, as per the sources.

According to the outlet, the Los Angeles City Attorney would likely handle any potential prosecution of the misdemeanor arrest.

They can defer prosecution in lieu of an office hearing.

In such hearings, warnings are issued in exchange for a potential dropping of the charges.

Cruz has been active in Hollywood since the late 1980s.

He racked up credits on TV shows of the era such as Knots Landing, Cagney & Lacey and Beauty and the Beast.
