SAVANNAH, Ga. () – A beautiful day is expected across the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry as the weekend wraps up. Thanks to high pressure overhead, we can anticipate low humidity, a gentle breeze, and abundant sunshine. Afternoon temperatures will remain comfortably in the mid-80s.
This sunny and pleasant weather will carry on into Monday. By Tuesday, winds will start shifting from the northeast to the southwest, introducing warmer and more humid conditions as the week progresses. Highs will gradually rise into the upper 80s, accompanied by a few more clouds.
At the same time, a stationary front over Florida will slowly move closer by week’s end. As it nears, there’s a slight chance for a few isolated showers as we head into next weekend.
Additionally, we are monitoring a tropical wave for the mid to later part of the week, which has a medium chance for development. Currently, it’s producing a few showers and storms over the Atlantic, moving west/northwest. An ample amount of dry air is present, which will help restrain its development.
