Authorities have reported that multiple individuals were injured in a shooting incident at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania on Saturday night.
The Chester County District Attorney’s Office confirmed to Fox News Digital that there were several victims, though they did not specify the exact number of injuries or fatalities.
According to the Oxford Borough Police Department, at least four people sustained gunshot wounds and were transported to a nearby hospital, as reported by FOX 29 Philadelphia.
“Law enforcement officers have arrived at the scene and are conducting an active investigation,” stated the District Attorney’s office. They also advised the public to steer clear of the area for the time being.
Police officials from Oxford Borough noted that no suspects have been apprehended and emphasized that there was no ongoing active shooter situation at the moment, according to the news outlet.

Lincoln University is a Historically Black College and University (HBCU).
The school celebrated its homecoming this weekend, with the main football game at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Lincoln University is located about 45 miles southwest of Philadelphia and about 25 miles west of Wilmington, Deleware.
The City of Chester, Chester County, Chester County Police Department, Chester County Sheriff’s Office and Lincoln University did not immediately respond to inquiries from Fox News Digital.
