After conducting several interviews, authorities concluded that the assault was the result of a domestic dispute between the woman and her fiancé.

GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. — A woman faces charges after allegedly attacking and stabbing her fiancé in a hotel room on Tuesday night, as reported by the Glynn County Police Department.

According to GCPD, officers were dispatched to the America’s Best Value Inn & Suites following a call about a stabbing incident. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered a man who had sustained a stab wound to his back. He was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, where officials noted his injuries were not life-threatening.

Surveillance footage revealed the injured man exiting the hotel room, followed closely by a woman, later identified as 34-year-old Leticia Nottingham, who then left the vicinity. Police identified Nottingham as the man’s fiancé.

Authorities quickly located Nottingham and conducted an interview regarding the events of the evening. After thorough questioning, GCPD determined that the altercation was rooted in a domestic conflict between Nottingham and the victim.

Subsequently, Nottingham was taken into custody and faces charges of aggravated assault, in addition to carrying a firearm or knife during the execution of certain felonies.
