“Oh no! Oh no! I’m done for, I’m done for!” exclaimed Kai Trump as she found herself overwhelmed by the controls during a session of Fortnite. The young gamer was frantically attempting to build a defensive structure in one of America’s most beloved video games.

This summer, Kai, the first adult grandchild of the Trump family, joined forces with professional gamer “Clix” for a collaborative video, tapping into his vast audience of young gaming enthusiasts.

In this engaging partnership, Clix took on the role of mentor, guiding Kai through the intricacies of Fortnite. In exchange, Kai offered Clix valuable advice to refine his golf swing before they joined friends for an exhilarating go-kart race.

“It was a blast getting to know her off-camera and creating content with her on-camera,” Clix shared with the Daily Mail after the video was released.

Kai discovered Clix through her 13-year-old brother, Tristan, who is an avid follower of Clix’s gaming content.

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen him smile this wide,” Kai remarked, observing Tristan’s excitement as he chatted with one of his favorite online personalities over the phone.

It’s been a year since Kai Trump started her popular YouTube channel for her fans to share some of her life behind the scenes of her life as the first adult grandchild of President Donald Trump.

Fans marveled as she cruised across the fairway in the presidential golf cart, as she and her grandfather watched the legion of Secret Service agents protecting the Trump National Golf Course outside of Washington, DC.

‘You had too many close calls,’ Kai remarks, making a subtle observation on the multiple assassination attempts against his life.

‘I had some close calls, that’s true, honey,’ Trump chuckled wryly in response, before abruptly returning to a lighthearted conversation about their golf game.

The pair casually traded compliments about their golf swings and shots on the fairway in pursuit of birdies to lift up their scores. Kai has been playing golf since she was two, and together they share a close bond over their love of the game.

She has embraced her public life early, opening her world to her fans on social media as she prepares for life as a college golfer at the University of Miami.

Kai also announced this week that she had been invited to compete at The Annika, for the 2025 LPGA Tour season, at the Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida. 

The event will take place November 10-16. 

The increased Secret Service presence is now an experience that the President’s family, including his eleven grandchildren, now shares.

She’s not wrong. In June, a man climbed a wall of the president’s Mar-a-Lago resort to both ‘spread the gospel’ to the president but also ‘marry Kai,’ he told police.

It’s a trade-off, she and her father acknowledge. They have great opportunities, but they also have to come to terms with the fact their lives will always be public.

Trump also wrestles with the trade-off as he and his granddaughter trade comments about their golf swings on his gorgeous club outside of Washington, DC on the Potomac River.

‘If I wasn’t Donald Trump this would be top 10 in the nation,’ he muses.

But if he wasn’t Donald Trump, Kai Trump would not be at the White House with unprecedented access to the property.

As she steps on the White House South lawn with her video and photography team, Kai recalls her life in the first term where she had a broken arm and was kicking the soccer ball on the lawn with her uncle Barron Trump.

Now at age 19 and in college, Barron continues to keep his life private. Kai, however, at age 18 is embracing the Trump life that also comes with its perks.

This fall, she showed off her new branded line of sweatshirts as she chipped shots onto the White House putting green.

As she walks up and down the walkways at the White House, she laughs nervously at the president’s staff watching her from their offices.

‘It’s pretty cool, not many people get to do that,’ Kai admits.

Her White House photo shoot drew some grumbling about the Trump family using the White House for personal profit, but the president and her fans do not care.

‘Let Kai Trump live her best life. She’s young, driven, and entrepreneurial, just like her family of winners, builders, and competitors,’ a former Trump aide told the Daily Mail.

Kai, her supporters argued, were nothing like the Biden family, pointing to Hunter Biden’s lifelong, behind the scenes grifting.

‘The Trumps stand for class, discipline, and loyalty. The Bidens? Parmesan off the ground, shady foreign deals, laptops, and cocaine in the White House,’ the former official noted. ‘We are not the same.’

But as her emerging social media presence proves, her life is more than just the White House and golf.

She eats too much Hibachi food with friends in Miami, goes shopping for pumpkin-spiced fall items, and spends time with her best friend Emma Markin. 

A recent video featured a surprise for Emma for her birthday: A pink-wrapped Ford Bronco.

Kai also spends time with her mother Vanessa Trump, sharing a video of a trip together in the Hamptons.

Conservative social media influencers say Kai’s emerging online presence appears increasingly savvy in a world where her every move is scrutinized.

‘She’s just living as her authentic self, you know, not apologizing for it, which is, to me is a key part of the Trump family,’ former White House senior advisor Katie Miller told the Daily Mail.

Miller now hosts her own podcast, unveiling details about her own life as a MAGA Republican, married with three children with powerful Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller.

Miller said she was pleased to see more MAGA republicans live their lives in public, proving to audiences they were real people, not one-sided caricatures created by the left.

‘You get to see a side that you don’t normally get to see in a way that’s relatable,’ she said.

Kate Johnson, a health and fitness influencer married to podcaster Benny Johnson said the modern era demanded that people grasp their own online identities.

‘I think when you are such a high-profile family, either you define yourself or the world will define you,’ she said.

Kai is off to a running start. When she heads to the University of Miami next fall, Kai already has over nine million followers on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and X.

Clix commented that Kai has demonstrated real progress with her unique online content.

‘I think she has a really bright future in the creator space, and her viewership shows it,’ he said.
