Developing: Remains of 4-Year-Old Child Found in Georgia Woman’s Car

Authorities in Georgia have unveiled further details concerning the tragic discovery of a 4-year-old girl found deceased in her mother’s vehicle last month.

As previously noted by CrimeOnline, Jessica Motes, a resident of Flowery Branch, was initially charged with felony concealing a death in relation to the young girl’s demise. However, recent developments have escalated the situation.

According to an arrest warrant obtained by Channel 2’s Action News from Hall County, the charges against Motes have now been intensified to include first-degree murder. The victim has been identified as Motes’ daughter, Autumn Fox.

In a disturbing revelation, Motes’ father recounted an encounter with his daughter on October 26 in a Sam’s Club parking lot in Oakwood. During this meeting, Motes allegedly confessed to her father that she had “hurt” Autumn and feared she was dead, as reported by 11 Alive News.

Following this encounter, Motes’ father contacted the authorities, leading to the grim discovery of Autumn’s remains in the trunk of Motes’ car.

The father then reportedly spoke to police, who subsequently found the child’s remains in Motes’ trunk.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is currently investigating, along with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.

Motes remains behind bars in the Hall County Jail without bond.
