In a dramatic turn of events, authorities have apprehended two additional suspects connected to a daring daylight firebomb attack on an Adelaide supermarket last month. This shocking incident left two butchers with severe injuries, casting a shadow over the community.
The audacity of the attack was captured on CCTV, providing chilling footage of an alleged arsonist who inadvertently set himself on fire during the chaotic scene. Witnesses described the harrowing moments, with one victim recounting how he was drenched in fuel and feared for his life, believing the store was on the brink of a catastrophic explosion.
In a significant breakthrough, police yesterday arrested a 40-year-old man, believed to be the getaway driver, during a raid at a residence in Paralowie. According to police allegations, the suspect made his escape in a black Lexus, recklessly crashing into several vehicles as he fled from the scene.
