During her Harper’s Bazaar photo shoot, Meghan Markle appeared bashful as she was complimented for being a ’10 out of 10′ in exclusive behind-the-scenes footage released this week.
The candid moments, shared on the Duchess of Sussex’s Instagram, capture Meghan looking slightly overwhelmed by the admiration as she sits barefoot on the set.
Clad in a simple white shirt paired with black trousers, the 44-year-old Duchess blushes and modestly covers her face with her hand while a male crew member praises her with a ’10 out of 10′ remark.
She responds with a playful glance in his direction, accompanied by a laugh, before turning her gaze away.
Additional unseen clips reveal a heartfelt moment where she embraces Samira Nasr, the editor-in-chief of Harper’s Bazaar.
Nasr, who hails from Canada, made history as the first black woman to lead the prestigious magazine, having previously served as the executive fashion director at Vanity Fair.
Ms Nasr reposted the behind the scenes footage on her own Instagram account, captioning it ‘This lady!!’ with a heart emoji. She added: ‘My endless gratitude to everyone who was on set’.
It comes after the Duchess was unveiled as the cover star of the magazine’s December 2025/January 2026 edition on Thursday, wearing Dior and seemingly no make up.

The Duchess of Sussex is also seen posing with a smile as directors off camera tell her to be ‘romantic’
Meghan was this week revealed as the cover star of Harper’s Bazaar magazine’s December 2025/January 2026 edition, which was labeled as the art issue
To coincide with the release Meghan previously shared a black-and-white video showing her posing for the cameras and looking thoughtfully into the distance, and thanked the ‘extraordinary’ team behind the shoot for the ‘unforgettable experience’.
On Friday she also shared clips of her posing while someone off camera suggested she should be ‘romantic’.
In response, she placed one hand on the side of her face and gave a slight smile to the camera.
And last night the Duchess teased fans that the photoshoot was not the only project they could expect to see in the coming days and weeks.
A post by her lifestyle firm As Ever in the early hours of Saturday on Instagram said: ‘It’s been a week of many surprises, reveals and mic drops for our brand and for our founder, Meghan.
‘So we thought: why stop now? We have something else up our sleeve – and it might just be the best one yet.’
The post was accompanied by a picture of Christmas stockings hanging from a mantelpiece.
The As Ever founder spoke in her Harper’s Bazaar interview about how she was first drawn to her husband, Prince Harry, 41, for his ‘childlike wonder and playfulness’ after they met in 2016.
In other unseen footage, Meghan is seen joyfully hugging Harper’s Bazaar’s editor-in-chief Samira Nasr

The Harper’s Bazaar interview saw Meghan gush over her ‘playful’ husband Prince Harry (The couple are pictured leaving Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party on November 8)
The interview took place at the famed Beverly Hills Hotel in LA, and saw the Duchess be given an unsolicited cappuccino with a portrait of herself from a trip to South Africa.
She said of Harry, whom she married in 2018: ‘He loves me so boldly, fully, and he also has a different perspective because he sees media that I wouldn’t.’
‘No one in the world loves me more than him, so I know he’s always going to make sure that he has my back,’ she continued.
The couple share two children together – son Archie Harrison, six, and daughter Lilibet Diana, four.
She also addressed her recent appearance at Paris Fashion Week where she attended the Balenciaga show.
She is understood to have gone to support her friend Pierpaolo Piccioli, who was leading his first at the helm as creative director – although it was later reported she essentially invited herself.
Addressing the situation, Meghan said: ‘I was excited for him.
‘I reached out and I said, “Happy to come and support you.” We kept it a secret, and it was really fun.’
