Comedian Louis C.K. was recently seen in New York City sharing a kiss with Mimi O’Donnell, the long-term partner of the late actor Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Photographs published by the Daily Mail captured the moment as the 58-year-old comedian tenderly held O’Donnell’s head while they kissed. In another image, he gently touched her face, gazing into her eyes.
For their outing, C.K. chose a laid-back look, donning a black peacoat, a hoodie, jeans, and a baseball cap. O’Donnell matched his casual attire with a blue long-sleeved jacket, cuffed jeans, and boots.
The pair seemed to enjoy a leisurely walk with a dog, sharing smiles along the way.
There has been no immediate response from C.K.’s representatives regarding the budding romance, despite inquiries from Page Six.
O’Donnell was in a 15-year relationship with Hoffman, during which they had three children: Cooper, 22, Tallulah, 19, and Willa, 17. Hoffman passed away in 2014 at the age of 46 due to a heroin overdose.
O’Donnell hasn’t publicly dated anyone since. She reflected on Hoffman’s death in a 2018 essay for Vogue.
“It’s been almost four years since Phil died, and the kids and I are still in a place where that fact is there every day,” she shared. “We talk about him constantly, only now we can talk about him without instantly crying.”
“We can talk about him in a way that feels as though there’s a remembrance of what happened to him, but that also honors him,” she continued. “We talk about his bad sides and his good sides, what he did that was funny and what he did that was crazy, and what he did that was loving and tender and sweet. We open up, and it brings us together and keeps his spirit alive.”
Meanwhile, C.K. made headlines in 2017 when multiple women accused him of sexual misconduct in 2017, which he admitted to.
âThese stories are true,â he said in a statement sent through his rep at the time. âAt the time, I said to myself that what I did was okay because I never showed a woman my dâk without asking first, which is also true.”
‘But what I learned later in life, too late, is that when you have power over another person, asking them to look at your dâk isnât a question. Itâs a predicament for them,” he continued. “The power I had over these women is that they admired me. And I wielded that power irresponsibly.”
C.K. was able to make a comeback, and he’s currently on his “Ridiculous” comedy tour, which continues into 2016.
He was previously married to Alix Bailey from 1995-2008, and they share two daughters.
