Allen Lazard’s time with the Jets has officially concluded.

The New York team has decided to part ways with the seasoned wide receiver, 30, as he wraps up his third year with them. This move ends what many consider to be one of the least successful free-agent signings in the team’s recent history, as confirmed by The Post’s Brian Costello.

This decision was characterized as mutually agreed upon, according to Costello.

During his tenure, Lazard recorded 70 receptions, amassing 911 yards and scoring eight touchdowns over 36 games, following a four-year, $44 million deal signed before the 2023 season.

This year, his performance dwindled to just 10 catches for 70 yards and a single touchdown across 10 games.

There’s speculation that Lazard might reunite with his former teammate, quarterback Aaron Rodgers, potentially joining the Pittsburgh Steelers as they chase a playoff spot in the AFC North.

More to come on this developing story…
