BOLO: Turquoise Alert Issued for 21-Year-Old Arizona Woman Who Missed Work

A Turquoise Alert has been activated for a 21-year-old woman from Arizona who did not report to work on Tuesday morning, raising concerns about her whereabouts.

As reported by ABC 15 Arizona, Isabella Comas was last spotted on Sunday around 3 p.m. in the Avondale area. Her disappearance was brought to the attention of authorities by a friend who noticed she missed work and failed to notify her employer of her absence.

Efforts to locate Comas included tracking her phone, but these attempts proved unsuccessful, leading to the issuance of the alert on Tuesday evening.

According to AZ Family, Comas was driving a red 2011 Hyundai Sonata, bearing the Arizona license plate 2EA6LW, when last seen. This sighting occurred near the intersection of 111th Avenue and Van Buren Street.

Comas is described as a Hispanic woman, standing 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing approximately 110 pounds. She has distinctive pink hair and brown eyes.

At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing blue pants with a white stripe and a loose-fitting navy-blue shirt, and she might have been wearing sandals.

A Turquoise Alert, also known as “Emily’s Law,” named after 14-year-old slain Indigenous girl, Emily Pike, assists authorities in locating missing Indigenous people and endangered people under age 65.
