In a disturbing development from Carter County, Tennessee, law enforcement officials have apprehended a local resident on serious charges relating to child exploitation. The arrest followed an operation by the Carter County Sheriff’s Office, which executed a search warrant at the Stoney Creek residence of Jay Ruiz, aged 21, on Thursday. In a news release, authorities revealed that Ruiz is facing allegations of possessing materials depicting child sexual abuse.
