The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has been called upon to probe the distribution of political mailers within Carter County. This investigation was initiated at the behest of First Judicial District Attorney General Steve Finney, who sought to uncover the “origin of allegedly unauthorized political mailers” that recently found their way into the mailboxes of Carter County residents. A spokesperson from the TBI has confirmed this request for an investigation.
