During his State of the Union address on Tuesday, President Trump highlighted his administration’s strides in reducing prescription drug prices, spotlighting the inaugural user of his TrumpRx platform.
“Previous presidents attempted this, but success eluded them,” Trump remarked about the efforts to cut drug costs.
“Yet, I accomplished it,” he declared confidently.

The president underscored his most favored nation policy, which aims to align drug prices in the U.S. with those in other leading Western countries, along with TrumpRx. This initiative, supported by pharmaceutical giants like Pfizer offering discounted medications, stands as proof of his achievements.
“Americans, who have historically paid the highest prices worldwide for prescription drugs, will now enjoy the lowest prices globally,” Trump claimed.
“This is a significant milestone,” he added, noting that TrumpRx offers medications at discounts reaching “600% and beyond, available immediately.”
Trump invited Catherine Rayner, a military spouse and the first TrumpRx customer, to the State of the Union and shared her story.
“She and her husband have struggled with infertility, and they turned to IVF,” the president explained. “One drug has been costing Catherine $4,000 to purchase, but a few weeks ago, she logged on to the TrumpRx website and got that same drug that cost $4,000, got it for under $500.”

“Katherine, we are all praying for you and you’re going to be a great mom.”
The president also called on Congress to codify his most favored nation policy into law.
