In a dramatic and chaotic scene captured on video, a car plowed into a crowd outside a bar in San Bernardino County, California, this past weekend. The incident sparked gunfire and caused bystanders to scatter in a desperate attempt to avoid harm.
According to the Redlands Police Department, four individuals were hospitalized following what is being investigated as a potential attempted vehicular homicide that occurred early Sunday morning.
The unsettling event was reportedly triggered by a dispute that escalated among several patrons outside The Underground, a well-known restaurant and bar, shortly before 1:30 a.m.
Authorities have stated that one participant in the altercation got into a 2022 Tesla, drove away, and then returned moments later. The driver allegedly accelerated into the crowd, hitting four people who were standing on the street in front of the bar.

The driver subsequently lost control, crashing into a curb. Despite the collision, the vehicle managed to flee the scene, seemingly leaving a trail of leaking fluids behind.
After the initial strike, an “unknown suspect” drew a gun and unleashed a flurry of shots, police said, shattering the window of one business while damaging the door of another.

Police confirmed there have been no reports of anyone struck by gunfire. However, four victims sustained serious injuries in the hit-and-run and were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
No arrests have been announced in connection with the attack.

Bruno, the business owner whose window was shattered by gunfire, told Fox 11 Los Angeles that a similar incident has taken place in the area before.
The area in downtown Redlands is known for frequent altercations and disturbances, with some describing it as “a location people go after they have been kicked out of other bars,” the outlet reported.
