In Baltimore, a police officer and a suspect were both wounded during what officials are calling an “active shooter situation” on Tuesday.

The event unfolded at 6200 Park Heights Avenue, located in the northwest region of Baltimore, according to police reports.

“An officer has sustained injuries and has been taken to Shock Trauma,” the Baltimore Police announced in a social media update on X. “A suspect was also injured. Please steer clear of the vicinity. Additional details will be shared as they become available.”

The police were called to the scene of an active shooter at 6200 Park Heights Avenue in northwest Baltimore on March 10, 2026. Officials confirmed that an officer and a suspect were both shot, with the officer now receiving care at Shock Trauma.
