Nassau County Executive and Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Blakeman has taken aim at Governor Kathy Hochul after her recent comments urging wealthy former New Yorkers to return to the state.

Governor Hochul faced criticism after she countered New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s call to “tax the rich.” She suggested that affluent New Yorkers willing to pay higher taxes should encourage their wealthy friends to move back to New York.
