$18 Kleinfeld Bridal wedding gown allegedly ruined by NYC dry cleaner

In a tale of wedding dreams turned sour, a bride from Long Island was thrilled to say yes to a dazzling wedding dress worth nearly $18,000, only to claim it was later ruined by a luxury cleaning service in Midtown.

Danielle Sacco’s exhaustive six-month search for the perfect gown finally ended at Kleinfeld Bridal, famed for its appearances on “Say Yes to the Dress,” where she discovered her stunning Pnina Tornai creation.

“I knew right away it was my dream dress,” Sacco shared in a statement to The Post, expressing her immediate connection with the gown.

Sacco “spent thousands of dollars just to clean the wedding gown, she goes to make sure it’s preserved and they ruined it,” said her attorney, Zachary Zain. “It’s all torn up, and torn up everywhere.

“She’s devastated.”

It’s not the first time the cleaner has faced complaints.

In September, influencer Claudia Li Johnson caused a stir when she griped in a TikTok post that Madame Paulette lost her custom Vera Wang gown.

The dress was found in September after The Post exposed numerous complaints about the cleaner losing high-end items, including a $110,000 Fendi coat.

Online reviews revealed others who didn’t like the service.

“If you are a BRIDE, AVOID. RUN,” wrote one man, who claimed he spent a year trying to retrieve his wife’s wedding gown from the company.

Another claimed they’d sent a “hand-hemmed, hand-monogrammed damask tablecloth and napkins” to the company to be cleaned “and they were returned in SHREDS. strips of fabric hanging from hangers–looking like a stage version of beggar’s rags.”

The cleaner apologized to both customers in responses to the negative online reviews, and claimed it had no record of the issue with the tablecloth.

Madame Paulette did return a message seeking comment.
