Spencer Pratt 's clapback to LA hecklers while livestreaming

In a dramatic turn of events during a recent livestream, Spencer Pratt found himself confronting a group of street hecklers. The former reality TV personality, who is now vying for the position of Los Angeles mayor, was unexpectedly challenged as he strolled near a Metro station.

Amidst the commotion, the crowd, eager to test Pratt’s political mettle, bombarded him with a flurry of questions. One woman, noticing his polished appearance in a suit and sunglasses, bluntly queried, “What qualifies you for mayor when you literally have no experience?”

Pratt, unfazed by the scrutiny, quickly turned the tables with a sharp retort. He seized the opportunity to throw a jab at his political rival, Councilmember Nithya Raman, who, according to polling, is neck-and-neck with Pratt for a chance to challenge the current mayor, Karen Bass, in the general election.

“What is Councilmember Raman’s experience?” Pratt fired back. “Making drug addicts next to kids at schools?” His response referenced a controversial speech by Raman, where she expressed her stance on the sensitive issue of homeless encampments near schools.

“What is Councilmember Raman’s experience?” he asked back. “Making drug addicts next to kids at schools?”

Pratt was referring to a shocking speech where Raman revealed her views on homeless encampments near schools.

At a 2024 Sherman Oaks Homeowners Association debate, the socialist candidate said, “I don’t think a kid’s gonna be safer if [homeless encampments] are 10 feet or 500 feet away from a school.”

Pratt went on to troll the heckler further, telling the livestream, “Hold on, she likes drug addicts in front of kids’ schools.

“My experience is making sure moms are safe again,” Pratt went on to answer. “These people are letting drug addicts be in front of kids at schools.”

The woman, meanwhile, tries to interrupt Pratt, insisting he has no experience.

“I have the experience to stop that,” he said. “Have a nice day.”

More passersby appeared to throw shade at Pratt as he continued livestreaming, yet he shrugged them off.

“It’s a scary world. These people fight — they fight for literal drug addicts to be in front of kids at parks. People are nuts,” Pratt told his livestream viewers. “It’s crazy.”

The latest poll shows the mayoral race is hanging on a knife’s edge as the three major candidates are within spitting distance of each other with less than a week to go.

While Pratt, who holds a political science degree from USC and whom Republicans have coalesced around, has no formal political experience, his viral ads and campaigning tactics have earned him praise from both Democrats and Republicans for his outsider appeal.
