CHICAGO (WLS) — Powerful overnight storms swept through Chicago’s south suburbs, bringing dangerous flooding, stranding drivers and leaving some neighborhoods dealing with lingering high water.

The National Weather Service issued a Flood Warning for Cook, Will and Lake County, Indiana, until noon Saturday, as communities continued to recover from heavy rainfall.
