Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a long-haired suspect accused of sexually assaulting a teenage boy in a residential section of Queens last month.
According to the NYPD, a 15-year-old boy was approached by an unidentified person behind a home on Austin Street, between 75th Avenue and 75th Road in Forest Hills, shortly after 9:30 p.m. on June 4.
Investigators said the suspect sexually assaulted the teen before leaving the area on foot, heading north on 75th Street.
The boy was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Queens, where he was listed in stable condition, police said.
Police have released several images of the suspect, described as having a medium complexion, a medium build and long black hair.
The person shown in the images was wearing a T-shirt and shorts and was carrying a pocketbook, authorities said. Police have not specified the suspect’s gender.
