Taylor Swift is tied for the second-most No. 1 albums in U.S. chart history. Her 2025 release The Life of a Showgirl arrived in the fall and raced straight to No. 1 with the biggest opening total ever, giving Swift her fifteenth chart-topping album. Drake has since pulled even with her after Iceman, one of three projects he issued simultaneously this spring, also launched at the summit. The Beatles remain alone in first place with 19 No. 1 albums.
For well over a decade, Swift has shown that her albums do more than debut big. They linger. Few artists can consistently send new releases to No. 1 and then keep older titles active on the Billboard 200 for years, but Swift has built a catalog that repeatedly does both. This week, another one of her full-lengths reaches a longevity milestone that most acts never approach.
Taylor Swift’s Midnights Reaches 200 Weeks
Midnights hits its 200th week on the Billboard 200 in the latest frame. The album is not currently present on any other Billboard chart, and it slips eight spots on the 200-title list to No. 128.
Taylor Swift Has Nine Albums With 200 Weeks
With this achievement, Swift has now placed nine albums on the Billboard 200 for at least 200 weeks. That level of staying power is extraordinary, especially considering that many successful artists never place nine total projects on the chart at any point in their careers.
Her longest-charting album remains 1989, which has spent more than 11 years on the ranking. More recently, Red (Taylor’s Version) also moved beyond the 200-week mark, adding to Swift’s growing list of enduring chart performers.
Another milestone may be close behind. Speak Now has reached 194 weeks on the Billboard 200, while Red and Fearless (Taylor’s Version) have accumulated 185 and 175 weeks, respectively.

Midnights Spent Six Weeks at No. 1
Midnights debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in November 2022 and went on to rule for six weeks. The project is tied with two other Swift releases as her seventh-longest-running champion, as both Speak Now and 1989 (Taylor’s Version) also accomplished half a dozen stays in first place.
Several of her more recent efforts have enjoyed much longer runs at the summit. Her two most recent projects, The Tortured Poets Department and The Life of a Showgirl, both held court at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for double-digit frames.
Taylor Swift Charts Seven Albums This Week
Swift fills seven spaces on the Billboard 200 this week, with The Life of a Showgirl, The Tortured Poets Department, Folklore, Lover, 1989, Midnights and Reputation all finding space on the ranking. Of that bunch, only The Tortured Poets Department gains ground, as it lifts two spaces to No. 55. Every other Swift collection on the roster declines this frame.
Many Taylor Swift Albums Only Appear on the Billboard 200
Most of Swift’s Billboard 200 successes this time around can only be found on that tally. The Life of a Showgirl is the one exception, as it also appears on the Top Streaming Albums chart, where it slips one rung to No. 28. Red (Taylor’s Version) does not currently make the Billboard 200, but it holds at No. 49 on the Top Country Albums ranking.
