Arizona Man Guns Down Daughter, Grandkids Before Killing Himself

In a tragic incident last week in Arizona, a man fatally shot his daughter along with her two young children before turning the gun on himself.

Authorities, including Pima Police and other agencies, discovered the bodies of four individuals at a residence on October 16. Among the deceased were 31-year-old Justice Jones, her children aged 8 and 10, and her father, 64-year-old Duane Michael Jones, as reported by the Gila Herald. When police arrived, the firearm was still in Duane’s possession.

Family member Brenda Flores disclosed to KPHO that Justice Jones was 31. She named the children as 10-year-old Kyle and 8-year-old Tyme.

“I just hope that all of them… I hope they were asleep, and no one had to witness anything or feel any fear before it happened,” Flores expressed.

Flores mentioned that the motive behind Jones’s actions remains unknown, but the family speculates that mental health issues might have played a role. “Because anyone with a sane mind, this isn’t something that you’d do,” she added.
