In Gainesville, Florida, Vision Cierra Wilson, aged 44, found herself in legal trouble after being apprehended on allegations of exploiting an elderly woman. Authorities claim Wilson misused an elderly relative’s bank account for personal purchases.
The situation came to light on January 9 when family members contacted the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office, accusing Wilson of unauthorized withdrawals from the elderly woman’s account. Upon investigation, law enforcement discovered 19 questionable transactions amounting to $739.73, all occurring between January 2 and January 8, 2026.
During questioning, Wilson reportedly confessed, under her Miranda rights, to using the debit card without consent. She acknowledged the wrongdoing and admitted to having stored the victim’s bank details on her phone, which she used to cover her phone data expenses.
As a result, Wilson faces charges including exploitation of an elderly person, fraudulent use of personal ID information, petit theft, and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.
