A disturbing road rage incident in Sydney’s north-west has captured attention, as a driver allegedly performed a Nazi salute and assaulted another individual before making a quick getaway.
The unsettling event unfolded yesterday when a 48-year-old man was progressing along the road, only to be halted by a black ute that abruptly stopped in front of him.
The driver of the ute reportedly exited the vehicle, performed a Nazi salute, and then physically attacked the other driver before fleeing the scene.

In response to the incident, police launched an investigation, which led them to a residence on Cockatoo Road in Erskine Park. There, they apprehended a 50-year-old man in connection with the alleged attack.
He was taken to St Mary's Police Station, where he was charged with knowingly displaying by public act a Nazi symbol without excuse, and common assault.
The man was refused bail to appear at Penrith Local Court today.
