One Love Animal Rescue to host free vaccinations and adoption events

SAVANNAH, Ga. () — One Love Animal Rescue is hosting two pet events after receiving a grant from Chatham Subaru.

The grant will fund complimentary vaccinations and microchipping for dogs and cats at One Love Animal Rescue’s inaugural event. This occasion is a part of the Operations Pet Solutions Program, focused on offering resources to pet owners:

  • Sunday, Oct. 5, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Daffin Park — Washington and Waters Avenue entrance.
  • Services are limited to two pets per household.
  • No appointment is necessary, but supplies are limited.

All dogs are required to be leashed, and cats should be kept in individual carriers. Rabies vaccines will be available for both dogs and cats, alongside DHPP for dogs and FVCRP for cats.

The second event will be a pet adoption initiative, featuring cats and dogs looking for forever homes:

  • Saturday, Oct. 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Chatham Subaru, located at 100 Kita Ave. in Pooler.
