BIG STONE GAP, Va. (WJHL) — The Virginia Department of Corrections (VADOC) has reported an incident at Wallens Ridge State Prison that occurred on March 3, involving multiple corrections officers. As a result of this incident, four team members required medical treatment at facilities outside the prison. VADOC officials disclosed that two of these individuals sustained injuries while performing their duties.
