A 25-year-old man from Bristol, Virginia, has been handed a 10-year prison sentence for his role in a fentanyl distribution conspiracy, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has announced. According to court records, Briar Stephens, along with Bobby Arnett and additional accomplices, was involved in the distribution of over 600 fentanyl pills. This illegal operation is reported to have taken place starting in September 2024.
