Journey to Bid Farewell with 'Final Frontier' Concert in Tampa

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Legendary rock band Journey has announced its farewell “Final Frontier” tour set for 2026, marking their last cross-country adventure.

The band shared the exciting news on their official website, declaring, “The wait is over JOURNEY is hitting the road on our FINAL FRONTIER TOUR!”

Neal Schon, the group’s founding member, echoed the announcement with an Instagram story, featuring their hit song “Separate Ways” as the soundtrack.

Speaking to Variety, Schon expressed, “As its founding member, I carry the Journey torch to this day, wherever I go. The sentiment and spirit of the band will always remain. While this marks a farewell to one powerful chapter of the Journey we’ve shared, I want everyone to know I’m not done. Music is still burning strong inside me, and there are new creative horizons ahead. This tour is both a thank you and the beginning of what’s next.”

Currently comprised of Neal Schon, Jonathan Cain, Deen Castronovo, Arnel Pineda, Jason Derlatka, and Todd Jensen, the band is scheduled to perform at Tampa’s Benchmark International Arena on May 15.

According to the arena website, presale for the tickets will begin on Nov. 11 for Citi Cardmembers at 10 a.m. VIP package presale will also begin at the same time.

Local presale and Ticketmaster presale will begin on Nov. 13 at 10 a.m.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Nov. 14.
