65-year-old man dies in fall near Grand Canyon West Skywalk tourist attraction


A tragic accident claimed the life of a 65-year-old man who fell from a 130-foot cliff at the Grand Canyon, as rescue teams were called in to recover his body on Thursday, the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) reported.

The MCSO revealed that the man slipped, leading to his fatal fall. His body was found amidst loose rocks at the base of the cliff.

This unfortunate event took place before 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, near the Grand Canyon West Skywalk, located on the west rim of the Grand Canyon within the Hualapai Nation territory.
