Man arrested after two bodies found in home south-east of Melbourne

A man was taken into custody last night after the discovery of two deceased individuals at a residence southeast of Melbourne.

Police located the bodies of the man and woman after responding to a call at a property on Adrienne Crescent in Mount Waverley at around 10 PM yesterday.

Their identities have not yet been confirmed.

Following this, a significant search operation, including the canine unit, was initiated in the nearby areas.

Around 1:40 AM today, authorities apprehended a 34-year-old man at the Westall train station.

He is expected to be questioned by detectives regarding the fatalities.

At this stage police are not looking for anyone else.
