Beaufort County Sheriff's Office opens registration for Community Emergency Response Team training

BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. – The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is now accepting registrations for the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training program.

The program provides training to Beaufort County residents who wish to enhance their self-sufficiency in the event of a disaster.

Participants will gain skills to offer emergency help to their families and neighbors. The classes are offered free of charge and occur at different times during the year.

Fall 2025 classes will be held at Hilton Head Fire Rescue, located at 40 Summit Drive on Hilton Head Island.

  • Tuesday, November 4, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, November 6, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, November 12, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, November 13, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, November 15, 8 a.m. until the end of the exercise
