Disturbing CCTV has shown how a jealous killer followed his estranged wife before waiting outside her home and fatally attacking her.
Raymond Williams, 61, used a craft knife to cut Tania Williams’ throat after spotting her in the company of another man on a night out in Norwich.
Tania, 49, was discovered near her home in Thorpe St Andrew, Norfolk, on January 17 with catastrophic injuries and heavy blood loss.
Neighbours and emergency crews tried desperately to save the mother-of-four, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Williams, a former Norfolk police community support officer, was convicted of murder after a trial at Norwich Crown Court, where jurors were told he had become “consumed with jealousy”.
The court was shown footage charting Tania’s final movements and Williams’ efforts to find her, including him moving “from bar to bar” through the city.
CCTV captured Williams leaving his flat in shared accommodation on Dereham Road before making his way into Norwich city centre.
Jurors heard that he later confronted the man Tania was with, insisting they were still husband and wife while gesturing towards his wedding ring.

As Tania heads in one direction to catch a bus home, Williams is seen jogging down Wensum Street towards where his white Vauxhall Corsa was parked on Fishergate.
Security footage shows this car parked on Yarmouth Road as he ‘laid in wait’ for Tania, who is then seen on CCTV getting off her bus and walking towards her home in Catherine Gardens.
At 11.30pm, neighbours heard petrified screams, including a female voice saying: ‘What are you going to do? Kill me?’.
Moments later, Tania was discovered lying on the ground in a ‘pool of blood’.
Within two hours, armed police arrested Williams at his accommodation.
Bodycam footage showed him wearing completely different clothes after he desperately disposed of his former outfit that evening in a bid to avoid forensic detection.
CCTV had also captured him acting suspiciously around bins in nearby alleyways.
Footage showed him taking off his watch, which had been given to him by Tania, and dropping it down a drain.
Williams will be sentenced on September 21.
Following her death, the daughter of Mrs Williams released a statement through Norfolk Police paying tribute and describing her as a committed Christian.
She said: ‘My mother Tania was a woman of great faith, believing in Christ. She was also a woman who was passionate about her four children.

‘Tania was undoubtedly beautiful, she was honest but mostly was always giving to others, the list about her bubbly personality truly goes on.
‘Our family wants to continue to honour her and her generous nature even in her passing, which stems from deep-rooted faith and kindness.
‘Even though her life was cut short; she still lived a full life – leaving many beautiful memories with her children and family behind.
‘Her children want to keep their memories of her alive by honouring her passions and fulfil any dreams she didn’t get to do here on earth.’
Senior Investigating Officer Detective Inspector Sam Pontin said on Friday: ‘This was a thorough and complex investigation involving officers and staff from across the force.
‘Thanks to the strength of the evidence presented, the jury was able to reach its verdict and hold Williams accountable for his actions.
‘While no verdict can undo the pain caused by Tania’s death, I hope today’s outcome provides her family with some measure of justice.’
