Paul Hogan’s son will not face charges following his arrest in a domestic violence case, the California Post has learned.
Chance Hogan, the youngest child of the “Crocodile Dundee” actor, was taken into custody at his father’s home in May after an alleged domestic battery incident. The Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office has since reviewed the matter and decided not to pursue criminal prosecution.
Officers were called to the 85-year-old actor’s residence in Venice at about 10:30 a.m. on May 1 after receiving a report of a domestic disturbance.
During the response, Paul Hogan and an unidentified woman were seen speaking with police outside the property. Chance had reportedly left the scene before officers arrived.
Authorities later located Chance and arrested him. He was booked on a misdemeanor domestic battery allegation, with bail set at $20,000.
Although prosecutors have declined to move forward with charges, Chance has previously drawn concern over his behavior.
Last year, on his private Instagram account, he appeared intoxicated while drinking wine and watching an American sitcom, pleading with someone to “please kill me.”

“This is my life. This is what it’s been reduced to. Please. Please kill me. I’m begging you,” he said.
Chance, who is also the lead singer of punk rock band Rowdy P, posted himself on the band’s Instagram page in front of a huge fire with his shirt off.
Paul Hogan is best known for starring in the “Crocodile Dundee” trilogy and “Almost an Angel.”
The actor has five children with his first wife and one child (Chance) with his second wife.
