Chilling question FBI is asking Lindsey Graham's neighbors

Unverified claims about Sen. Lindsey Graham have circulated online, alleging that FBI agents questioned his Capitol Hill neighbors following reports of his death, with speculation fueled by his recent visit to Kyiv and outspoken criticism of Iran.

One account, attributed to the Daily Mail, claimed that at least six agents asked a neighbor whether he had noticed “anything out of the ordinary” in the hours before Graham was said to have died Saturday night at the age of 71.

The same report alleged that roughly 20 agents later arrived on Graham’s quiet Capitol Hill street as part of a follow-up inquiry, after an initial FBI visit on Sunday. It also claimed an unmarked law enforcement vehicle remained outside the residence after agents departed.

However, there has been no credible official confirmation that Graham has died, and such claims should be treated with caution unless verified by his office, law enforcement, or a recognized medical authority.

The rumors appear to have gained traction because of the timing described in the report, which linked the alleged incident to Graham’s recent travel to Ukraine, where he toured a drone facility and met with President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Graham has also been a prominent supporter of Donald Trump’s hardline posture toward Iran, a stance that has drawn sharp criticism from Tehran and its supporters.

Before the Kyiv trip referenced in the circulating account, Graham was reported to have attended a NATO gathering in Ankara, Turkey, where he met with Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa and discussed efforts he described as delivering “a blow to Iran.”

No verified evidence has emerged to support claims of foul play or to confirm the broader narrative being shared online. Until official sources provide confirmation, speculation from political commentators and hardline Trump allies should be viewed as unsubstantiated.

Graham had spoken to Trump on Saturday night, hours after landing back from Kyiv, in what Trump said ‘could’ve been his last call.’

The President told NBC’s Meet the Press that the senator ‘sounded a little bit tired, but perfect.’

Trump and Graham discussed the senator’s visit to Ukraine, where he had been pressing the case against Vladimir Putin.

‘Ukraine has exceeded every expectation on the battlefield. Now is the time to apply maximum pressure on Putin to end the bloodbath,’ Graham posted on X last week.

‘I applaud President Trump’s decision to grant Ukraine a license to produce their own Patriot missile interceptors. I believe this will be a giant step forward.’

Days before he was in Ukraine, Graham joined a Senate delegation at the NATO summit in Turkey.

Democratic Senator Chris Coons said Graham was ‘jubilant’ on the trip after Trump signaled he would finally move ahead with a Russia sanctions package which had been championed by the South Carolina lawmaker.

He met with Syria’s Al Sharaa, who he said gave the country ‘the best chance for a functioning, united Syria.’

‘I very much understand Israel’s concerns, but President Al Sharaa has been a true thorn in the side of Iran,’ Graham wrote on X on July 8.

‘He has dramatically reduced Iran’s influence in Syria, which is a giant step forward for the Syrian people and a blow to Iran.’

Graham flew from Turkey to Ukraine, where he met Zelensky on July 10 and toured the SkyFall drone plant on July 11 before heading home.

‘We have the formula to end this war,’ Graham told reporters before flying back to the US.

Graham was one of the loudest backers of Trump’s war against Iran within the president’s inner circle.

For decades, he has been one of the biggest advocates in the GOP for direct confrontation with Tehran. Iranian state television celebrated his death in a broadcast on Sunday morning.

That combination has driven days of unverified speculation online about a foreign hand in his death, none of it supported by investigators.

A Lego-themed video from an account supporting the Iranian regime showed a hooded figure entering a mansion at night where Graham is seen collapsing.

The video ends with a shot of a checklist with ‘Lindsey’ ticked off and ‘Laura’ [Loomer] listed next.

‘An Iranian regime account is now claiming Iran assassinated Senator Lindsey Graham,’ Trump insider Loomer wrote on X.

Just five days before his death, Graham posted a pro-Iran protester holding a placard showing his head in crosshairs.

‘At least they used a good photo of me. Judge me by my enemies,’ Graham wrote on X.

So far, neither Iran nor Russia has been officially linked to Graham’s death.

Russia has a documented history of targeting opponents with poisonings, including the 2020 nerve agent attack on opposition leader Alexei Navalny.

An autopsy for Graham was performed on Sunday and the Metropolitan Police Department is leading the death investigation. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is set to determine the official cause and manner in the coming days.

On Monday, Texas Republican Senator John Cornyn told reporters he wanted to see the results of Graham’s toxicology report: ‘Given where he was and the sorts of things he was advocating for, I think we just ought to resolve all those questions by seeing what the toxicology reports show.’

A person who spoke with Graham the night he died said the senator complained of feeling unwell but refused to seek medical attention.

Graham insisted he would wait until after his scheduled Sunday morning appearance on NBC’s Meet the Press, according to Axios.

‘I can’t die now,’ Graham joked. ‘I still need to do the Russia sanctions, get Iran sorted out and do Israeli-Saudi normalization.’

He was dead within hours.
