Heidi Klum left no detail to chance when creating her annual Halloween costume.
The supermodel stunned guests at her yearly costume reveal by appearing as a severed hand, making it one of her most outrageous Halloween looks to date.
But while Klum’s transformation was an unmistakable gory spectacle on the red carpet, some of the costume’s remarkably lifelike touches were easy to miss at first glance.
Klum, 53, told Entertainment Tonight that the costume included replicas of her veins, hand tattoo and jewelry.
‘I’ve been wearing this thumb ring, I want to say for about 20 years,’ she told the outlet on Saturday. ‘I never really take it off. I always have it on, and it kind of grew on my thumb.’
‘That’s my engagement ring and my wedding band. My husband [Tom Kaulitz] couldn’t be here today because he’s on tour right now. I’m going to join him on tour, but he couldn’t be here today,’ she added.

The costume even included a replica of Klum’s hand tattoo and her veins: ‘Those are all my actual veins.’
Even her nails were done up in her preferred style:Â ‘I wanted to do red. I love red, long, vampy nails,’ she said. ‘I thought it would be fun.’
The German supermodel is known for her incredible transformations, and on Saturday she outdid herself as she arrived at her iconic spooky bash in a gruesome severed hand costume.
The grotesque look featured long red claws and bloody veins bursting from her severed wrist, with Klum’s own face buried inside a macabre, gaping wound.
She was flanked by a five-person entourage clad in yellow hazmat suits. While on the red carpet she was also joined by her children Lou, 17, Johan, 19, and Leni, 22.

In past years, Klum’s other costumes have included transforming into E.T., a peacock, an alien and Princess Fiona from Shrek.
However, her most famous costume of all might have been the one that she wore in 2022.
At the time, Klum arrived as a worm, slithering around on the floor.
