Heather Locklear has opened up about her relationship with longtime friend Lorenzo Lamas, breaking her silence to discuss their romance.
In a surprising revelation, Locklear described Lamas as a “gift from God,” highlighting the depth of her feelings. “When I say ‘I love you’ to him, I’m really saying ‘I love you, God,’ because that’s how I feel. It’s divine,” she expressed on a podcast. “I’m in the happiest chapter of my life,” she added.
Speaking on the Hollywood and Divine podcast, the Melrose Place actress said: ‘My new guy is very… everything.
The 64-year-old actress first crossed paths with the 68-year-old actor during a Playgirl magazine photoshoot in 1983. Recently, the two have rekindled their connection, with the TJ Hooker star expressing her joy in having Lamas as her “new boyfriend.”
This revelation coincided with a photo shared by Lamas’ daughter, Shayne Lamas, on Instagram. The image captured the couple attending a graduation celebration for two of Shayne’s children in Los Angeles.

And in April, he shared the throwback photo in another post which has since been deleted, but appeared to confirm their relationship.

According to Hello! magazine, he quoted Corinthians 13:4-7, and wrote: ‘100 years ago. God’s grace is truly amazing.

‘But honestly, what I want is for God to direct me toward who I’m supposed to be with, because I can’t always make good decisions, and, um, that’s my immediate one.’
