SANFORD, Fla. – On Friday afternoon, a house in Sanford was consumed by fire following reports from residents of an “explosion” that shook their area, as stated by the Seminole County Fire Department.

Fire officials reported around 6:30 p.m. that the incident happened at a home along Stargazer Terrace.

The fire department announced that the fire had been successfully put out, with an “overhaul in progress.”

In addition, no injuries were reported, fire officials stated.

For now, the fire department said that the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
