Megan Fox embraced the look of a dangerous sea siren for Halloween.
The 40-year-old actress portrayed a gothic mermaid in a collection of sultry photos posted on Instagram Saturday.
In the images, Fox appeared to rise from shadowy water beneath the moonlight, dressed in a sparkling silver bra and a translucent gray mermaid tail.
She completed the dramatic transformation with eerie webbed hands, each finger finished with exceptionally long, shimmering dark nails.
Glittering facial gems highlighted her features, while metallic silver and violet makeup added to the otherworldly effect.
Fox—whose former partner Machine Gun Kelly, 36, has reportedly moved on with Dakota Johnson, 37—paired the images with a haunting caption: ‘the song was the trap, and the sea was the grave.’

The attention-grabbing Halloween appearance comes amid reports that Fox is unconcerned about MGK’s relationship with Johnson.
The actress, who shares 18-month-old daughter Saga Blade Fox-Baker with the musician, is said to have no desire to rekindle their romance and is instead concentrating on other areas of her life.
Sources told TMZ that Fox is ‘unbothered’ by her ex moving forward and has no interest in involving herself in his personal life.
According to insiders, Fox is currently single and intends to remain so while prioritizing motherhood and her career.
The reports follow Fox’s launch of an exclusive content account on Subs.com, as well as the release of her latest advertising campaign for telehealth brand Ro.
Fox and MGK ended their engagement in November 2024 and welcomed their daughter in March 2025. They reportedly now communicate only as co-parents.

‘MGK and Megan are done and only communicate about their daughter and co-parenting logistics,’ a source told Us Weekly in late September. ‘They both know they have toxic tendencies and it’s much better this way.’

The same source said the rapper ‘will always love Megan and have a soft spot for her,’ but added that he ‘gave up pursuing a romantic relationship with her several months ago.’

Fox and MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, welcomed their daughter in March 2025—four months after their relationship reportedly ended in November 2024. The split followed claims that Fox learned he had been communicating with other women.
Fox also has three sons—Noah, 14, Bodhi, 12, and Journey, 10—from her former marriage to Brian Austin Green. MGK shares 17-year-old daughter Casie with his ex Emma Cannon.
Fox and MGK were involved in a turbulent, on-again, off-again romance that lasted approximately four and a half years.
In January, a source told People: ‘Their relationship at this point is just about co-parenting. Megan is focused on her kids and the baby and just getting settled into this new chapter. That’s genuinely her priority.’
‘Megan’s very happy with how he’s stepped up for both her and the baby. While they still have separate homes, they spend a lot of time together as a family. They’re putting the baby first, and it’s brought them closer in many ways.’
The source added: ‘Things are great now. He’s amazing with the baby and she very much enjoys spending time with him.’
Johnson was seen just last week waiting for MGK outside a recording studio in Los Angeles.
More recently, insiders claimed that Johnson is experiencing ‘the best sex of her life’ with the musician.
A source told Our News Outlet Friday that Johnson has told friends their connection is growing stronger after the pair spent time together at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s July 4 wedding.

Johnson was in a relationship with English Coldplay frontman Chris Martin for six years. Martin shares children Apple, 22, and Moses, 20, with his former wife Gwyneth Paltrow.
