Alina Habba, the former acting US attorney for New Jersey and one-time personal attorney to President Trump, is reportedly engaged to Turkish billionaire Turhan Mildon, who is 13 years younger than she is.
Habba, 42, and Mildon, 29, are expected to marry Saturday at a location that has not been publicly disclosed, according to a report published Tuesday by the independent outlet The Correspondent.
Mildon serves as chief executive of Miller Holding, a major Turkish conglomerate established by his grandfather in 1967.
The company operates across the energy, construction and mining sectors. According to the outlet, Mildon’s business dealings have also brought him into close contact with political figures in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Venezuela, including interim President Delcy Rodriguez.
The pair made their first notable public appearance together in April, attending the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. The event was abruptly disrupted after a gunman tried to enter the ballroom.
In July, Habba and Mildon were spotted celebrating the Fourth of July together at the Executive Branch, an exclusive private club in Washington, DC.
Their latest public sighting came outside the upscale Polo Room restaurant in West Palm Beach, Fla., where the Daily Mail encountered the couple. Habba was photographed wearing a large diamond ring reportedly valued at 23 carats or more.
The couple reportedly met earlier this year during an event at Washington’s Kennedy Center.
The marriage would be Habba’s third.
The outspoken attorney divorced her second husband, parking lot executive Gregg Reuben, sometime after stepping down as New Jersey’s top federal prosecutor last December.
Her first marriage, to attorney Matthew Eyet, ended in divorce in 2019.
Mildon has also been divorced previously, according to the Daily Mail.
Habba gained national attention after Trump selected her as his personal lawyer in 2021. She later spent a short period in the West Wing as a counselor to the president before being tapped to head the US Attorney’s Office for New Jersey.
Her name has also been mentioned as a possible replacement for White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, although Habba has said she is not interested in the position.
