President Trump said Monday that Republicans should be positioned to win the midterm elections “in a landslide,” while warning that a Democratic victory would undo the accomplishments of his administration.
Speaking with Fox News host Sean Hannity, Trump said his policies eliminating taxes on tips, overtime pay and Social Security benefits could be reversed if Democrats take control of both the House and Senate.

In his final appeal before Election Day, Trump urged Republican voters to turn out at the polls.
“Pretend I’m on the ballot. Do whatever you want, but we have to vote,” he said. “If our people vote, we win in a landslide.”
Trump wrapped up a hectic weekend campaign tour after appearing at rallies for Republican candidates in several closely watched races.
According to the White House, the president held 30 rallies across 20 states during the 32-day travel blitz.
“I’m shutting it down after your show,” Trump told Hannity, adding that he expected to appear on “Fox & Friends” the following morning but was otherwise bringing the campaign push to a close.
Reflecting on his second term, Trump declared, “We’ve had a great two years. I don’t think anyone’s ever had two years like this,” and claimed his administration had created $25 trillion in wealth for the country.
Trump also said the United States has regained international respect.
“We are the hottest country,” he said.
