A 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a homicide that occurred on March 24 in Glynn County, Georgia. The Glynn County Police Department (GCPD) announced on Friday that Robert Arnold Williamson IV is now facing charges related to the death of a 73-year-old local resident.
Williamson is charged with felony murder, malice murder, aggravated assault, and the exploitation of an elder person. He is currently being held in custody not only for these charges but also for other unrelated offenses, according to the police.
The tragic incident unfolded when officers discovered the elderly man, unresponsive and with visible injuries, at his home on Abbott Avenue. Despite being rushed to the hospital, the man sadly succumbed to his injuries.
