You might have come across the touching story written by my colleague Jennifer Oliver O’Connell, published late Friday night as a part of her Feel-Good Friday series. It featured a family witnessing their baby girl with significant learning disabilities obtain her college diploma at Clemson University, courtesy of a dedicated program offered by the institution.

The heartwarming twist was that the graduate’s father wasn’t seated in the audience at Clemson. He also happens to be the university’s president and had the privilege of personally handing his daughter that golden ticket to a broader, more enriching future.
