Brunswick man charged with electronic child explotation


According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, an incident occurred shortly before 1:30 p.m. on Saturday near Green Street, where officers discovered a man in his mid-20s suffering from a gunshot wound to his back.

The victim is currently on the mend after being shot in the aftermath of a physical altercation, as reported by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities revealed that the situation began as a dispute among several individuals, which quickly escalated when firearms were introduced.

The individual responsible for firing the weapon was apprehended shortly after the event, while the other parties involved were detained and are cooperating with police investigations.

The injured man was transported to a medical facility with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

The investigation is still ongoing, but authorities say this appears to be an isolated incident.
