Far-left Californian's wicked two-word response to Lindsey Graham's death

A claim circulating online falsely states that Senator Lindsey Graham has died and alleges that Ana Kasparian, a commentator and host with The Young Turks, reacted to the news with a harsh post on X.

According to the circulating article, Kasparian wrote, “Good riddance,” in a Saturday night post that reportedly drew millions of views and sparked backlash from users across the platform.

However, the central claim is inaccurate: Senator Lindsey Graham has not died.

The article also claims that Graham’s office attributed his supposed death to a “brief and sudden illness,” and that preliminary findings from the DC medical examiner pointed to an aortic dissection. Those details are not supported by the facts, as there has been no such death announcement.

Because the premise of the report is false, the ensuing narrative about public reaction should be treated with caution rather than accepted as a verified account of events.

The piece quotes one X user as saying, “Everything that is wrong with the online space these days. Sure, don’t like a man’s politics, but this is disgusting,” reflecting the kind of outrage the alleged post was said to have generated.

It further claims that Kasparian responded directly to critics in the comments, intensifying the controversy rather than walking back the remark.

The article attributes another inflammatory comment to her, but given that the report is built around a false claim about Graham’s death, readers should verify any quoted social media posts through original sources before sharing or drawing conclusions.

Kasparian was referring to Graham’s comments about the war in Gaza. Graham previously compared Israel’s bombing campaign in Gaza to the US destruction of Tokyo and Berlin during World War II.

He argued a decisive military victory was necessary to break the cycle of radicalization.

Ana Kasparian, a blonde woman, looking directly at the camera with her mouth slightly open.

“Are you offended? Let me clarify: I’m elated that he’s dead,” Ana Kasparian added. Ana Kasparian/Instagram

“You are a vile person. What type of American celebrates the death of an American senator? One who is America Last,” another person replied.

“The free-thinking type who knows a bloodthirsty traitor when she sees one,” Kasparian hit back.

In another response to users questioning Graham’s sudden death, Kasparian wrote that “karma happened.”

Kasparian has faced backlash in recent years over her outspoken criticism of the US government’s alliance with Israel and its military campaign in Gaza.

Some Jewish advocacy groups, including the Anti-Defamation League, have condemned her rhetoric as antisemitic.

Kasparian has rejected those accusations, insisting her criticism is directed at the Israeli government, Zionism and US foreign policy — not at Jewish people.

The progressive commentator was among a host of others who similarly mocked and celebrated Graham’s death.
