A federal judge has rejected Minnesota’s bid to immediately stop Operation Metro Surge, a campaign spearheaded by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

In a decision handed down on Saturday, the judge ruled that the state and two cities did not satisfy the stringent legal criteria needed to halt a federal law enforcement initiative at this point in the proceedings.
