A troubling incident unfolded in Orlando, Florida, when a local resident, Mandolyn Ann Shaffer-Brockwell, found herself at the center of a series of violent acts captured on video. The 37-year-old woman faces serious charges following an altercation that reportedly involved assaulting a pregnant woman, attacking an elderly bystander, and biting a police officer during her arrest.
According to a report by FOX 35 Orlando, Shaffer-Brockwell stands accused of multiple offenses, including battery of a person aged 65 or older, aggravated battery against law enforcement, and burglary with assault or battery. The Orlando Police Department detailed that the incident began as a road rage episode on February 23, near the Mall of Millenia.
The situation escalated when the pregnant victim recounted to police that Shaffer-Brockwell repeatedly drove her vehicle erratically, stopping abruptly in front of her car. In an attempt to evade the situation, the pregnant woman honked her horn and tried to switch lanes.
However, the confrontation took a violent turn, as footage from the scene shows Shaffer-Brockwell exiting her vehicle, rushing toward the victim’s car, and brazenly climbing onto the hood. She then allegedly opened the driver’s side door and struck the pregnant woman in the face.

The unfolding chaos reportedly drew the attention of an elderly woman who attempted to intervene, only to become a target herself. As officers arrived to handle the situation, Shaffer-Brockwell allegedly continued her violent outburst, culminating in her biting one of the officers. The incident underscores the unpredictable and dangerous nature of road rage, raising concerns over safety and the measures needed to prevent such occurrences.
Footage released by the department appeared to show Shaffer-Brockwell getting out of her vehicle, running toward the pregnant woman’s car, jumping on the hood, and then forcefully opening the driver’s side door and allegedly hitting and punching the woman in the face.
The woman told police she had a child in the car during the incident.
“Honk at me again, (expletive),” Shaffer-Brockwell allegedly told the pregnant woman.

One of the victims provided a description of Shaffer-Brockwell and her vehicle, and an officer quickly located her.
However, when the officer attempted to detain her, she refused to comply and violently resisted, according to the department.
