MINNEAPOLIS — On Wednesday evening, an independent autopsy report concerning Renee Good was made public.
It’s been two weeks since Good was fatally shot by a federal immigration agent in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
At the request of Good’s family, the law firm Romanucci & Blandin, based in Chicago, was tasked with arranging the autopsy.
The autopsy revealed three distinct gunshot wounds on Good’s body: one on her left forearm, another through her right breast, and a third entering the left side of her head near the temple, with the bullet exiting on the opposite side.
The autopsy results aligned with the observations made by first responders at the scene.
The federal authorities have asserted that Good represented a threat to the agent who shot her, a claim that has been consistently refuted by Good’s family and eyewitnesses.

Meanwhile, federal prosecutors served grand jury subpoenas Tuesday to Minnesota officials as part of an investigation into whether they obstructed or impeded law enforcement during a sweeping immigration operation in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, a person familiar with the matter said.
The subpoenas, which seek records, were sent to the offices of Gov. Tim Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, St. Paul Mayor Kaohly Her and officials in Ramsey and Hennepin counties, the person said.
The person was not authorized to publicly discuss an ongoing investigation and spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.
The subpoenas are related to an investigation into whether Minnesota officials obstructed federal immigration enforcement through public statements they made, two people familiar with the matter said Friday. They said then that it was focused on the potential violation of a conspiracy statute.
